Take an appropriate amount of foundation onto the back of your hand or a palette, and coat the brush evenly.
For the cheeks, apply the foundation in several strokes. Brush from the center of the face outwards, holding the flat, cut side of the brush perpendicular to your skin.
For the forehead, apply a thin layer of foundation from the center outwards in the same manner.
Similarly, apply a thin layer to the nose, around the mouth, and on the upper eyelids.
For areas that need more coverage, gently dab the foundation on by holding the brush vertically against your skin.
Wipe any excess foundation off the brush with a tissue, then use it to blend the foundation along your jawline.
