This is a DIY kit that allows you to experience making a tsuchime, or hammered pattern, at home.

A tsuchime pattern is created by striking the surface of an object with a hammer. By hammering the surface of this tumbler, you can create a one-of-a-kind design that is uniquely yours.

To create your original patterned tumbler, simply place the included plastic working cup inside the tin tumbler. Then, use the hammer to tap the bottom of the tumbler from the center outwards, and the sides from the bottom up towards the rim. The tumbler is made of 100% tin, which is very soft, so you don't need much force to create the hammered pattern. This makes it an enjoyable activity for people of all ages.
