This is the third edition of our DIY kit for experiencing the "tsuchime" (hammered pattern) at home. "Tsuchime" refers to a pattern created by hammering. By hammering the surface of the chopstick rests, the fur of an animal is expressed, resulting in a very adorable and one-of-a-kind chopstick rest just for you.

Turn the lid of the box the product came in upside down and place the included white sheet on it.

Place a chopstick rest on top of the sheet, hold it down with your finger from above, and proceed to tap from the edge towards the center using the round part of the hammer.
Point: Be careful not to hit your finger!

Once you've tapped to the center, do the same on the other side, tapping from the edge towards the center.
Point: Tapping rhythmically without gaps will result in a beautiful hammered pattern!
