This is a small but valiant incense holder shaped like a Shishi (Lion). The design is an arrangement of a traditional motif, adapted for use as an incense holder. To use it, simply insert an incense stick into the lion's mouth. This item is produced using the casting techniques of the "Imono" (metal casting) traditional industry in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. Because it is left unpainted after polishing, you can enjoy the beautiful aging and patina of the metal over time.
